When Prince William County, VA needed to upgrade its’ pump station adjacent to Quantico, they decided to specify precast polymer concrete to combat the hydrogen sulfide generated corrosion they are experiencing in their collection system.  The new pump station design called for a 10’ diameter structure that would be approx 16’ deep.  The top for the pump station would also require several cast in components, such as hatches and hoist mounts.  The pump station components were manufactured at our facility and shipped to the jobsite ready to install.  Once excavation was complete, the structure set and back filled.
